Regarding Discounts and Coupons:
The policy is relatively straight forward. We generally only allow a customer to use one discount at a time under normal circumstances.
· The customer must physically provide coupons during the service visit.
o If the coupon is digital, they must show you. Take a picture of it.
o The customer DOES NOT KEEP the coupon, we take it with us if we can.
· What counts as a discount?
o Mail Coupons
o Digital Coupons
o Television Specials
o Senior Citizen 3%
o Teacher 3%
o Military 3%
· What does not count?
o Office/Manager Waived Service Fee
o MAM Pricing
· What if the customer has two discounts/coupons?
o You may apply one discount, whichever provides the most savings.
o Civil Discounts count as one discount, you MAY NOT use them in conjunction with another coupon.
Under normal circumstances, we do not allow technicians to waive service fees unless a service manager has allowed it, however there is one concern avoidance exception to this rule:
· WE DO NOT TAKE A CUSTOMERS PAYMENT IF THEY ARE UNHAPPY.
· It is not uncommon to occasionally cross paths with a customer that simply was not expecting to pay premium prices for premium quality work. Sometimes their response to our prices can be a bit more volatile than what’s called for. In this case it’s OK to waive a service fee, as long as you notate on the invoice WHY you waived it.
o It’s usually best to call a service manager while you’re onsite if you can.
